The deadline to submit proposals for poster clusters at the WCRP Open Science Conference 2023 is extended to 15 October 2022. If you or your organization/working group would like to propose a poster cluster topic, please fill in the survey form.
Poster clusters should be designed to bring together a community working on a specific topic within the broader conference themes. The aim is to help participants organize their poster viewing and provide a forum for discussion about the cluster topic. Posters will form an important part of the OSC. In addition to dedicated on-site poster sessions, all posters will be available on the hybrid platform poster gallery at least two weeks before the conference. Virtual poster sessions will be organized during these two weeks. Ideally, all presenters in a poster cluster will attend the OSC in Kigali, but it is also possible to form poster clusters having some, or only, virtual participants. All poster cluster presenters must eventually be registered for the OSC, either as on-site or virtual delegates.
Poster cluster names will be listed under the OSC programme sessions in the abstract submission system when it opens in December 2022. The survey form has a preliminary list of session topics; please identify the session where your cluster best fits. A final programme will be agreed upon by the Scientific Organizing Committee in October and poster clusters will be assigned accordingly. Abstract submission will close in February 2023. Poster cluster convenors will be part of the team reviewing the abstracts submitted to their cluster.
We encourage you to self-organize your poster cluster, but all clusters are open for abstract submissions to provide the widest possible participation.
