Preferential rates have been secured for the WCRP Open Science Conference delegates at hotels in Kigali.
- When you book, the payment is immediately debited from whatever card you use, as this is a condition to guarantee the special rates.
- Cancellation policy: If cancelled up to 48 hours before arrival no fee will be charged. If cancelled less than 48 hours before arrival, or in case of a no-show, 100% of the first night will be charged.
- Hotels are classified in order of star rating.
- Be patient - the hotel site can take some time to load.
- If you look at a hotel and want to get back to the main list of hotels, click on "Back to event" button; do not use the back arrow.
- Please ignore the "Book your transfer with us" - it will not work. Information about transportation to and from the airport and the KCC will be posted later.
The map below shows the approximate location of the hotels offering special rates via the Travelzuri link. To give you an idea of scale, the distance between Chez Lando (5) and the KCC (1) is just under 3km via the road.
- Taxis are available at the airport. The cost of a ride from the airport to the hotels listed here would vary between USD15 and USD30.
- We will be offering free transport to and from KCC and several locations in Kigali in the mornings and evenings. More details will be posted closer to the event. Walking is encouraged, but Kigali is very hilly, and it does rain in October, sometimes very hard.
